Ian Finch
Chairman

Ian is 58 and holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Geology from the University of Birmingham (England) and is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy. Ian's career spans over 36 years of mining and exploration. He joined CRA Exploration in 1981 as a Principal Geologist, before joining Bond Gold as its Chief Geologist in 1987. In these roles Ian was instrumental in the discovery and development of several new gold and copper/gold resources in Australia. In 1993 Ian established Taipan Resources Ltd, a company that successfully pioneered the exploration for large gold deposits in the Ashburton district of Western Australia. In 1999 he founded Templar Resources Ltd now a 100% owned subsidiary of Canadian listed company Goldminco Corporation. As President /CEO for Goldminco, Ian established an extensive exploration portfolio in New South Wales where the Company is actively exploring for large porphyry copper/gold deposits.

In 2005 Ian became executive chairman of Bannerman Resources Ltd., a successful uranium exploration company with interests in Namibia and Botswana. In 2006 he resigned from Bannerman in order to concentrate on the running of recently listed Trafford Resources Limited, a company which he founded and is currently Managing Director.


Gary Lewis
Executive Director

Gary is 45 and holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Business & Technology (MBT) from the University of NSW. In addition to running his own investment and marketing services businesses, Gary has worked in senior management positions in some of Australia's largest organisations. He has also worked with a number of Australia Public Companies over the past ten years in advisory positions, with an emphasis on corporate strategy and business development. Gary is currently a director and major shareholder in two private investment vehicles with major exposure to small-medium cap listed mining companies. Gary is also a director of listed medical devices company IMD Group Limited and Birch Energy Limited.
