This EL of 147km2 , is near Cobar in NSW and adjacent to the Mt Boppy Mine that has produced over one million tonnes at 12 g/t gold and historically was the No 2 gold producer in NSW. The exploration targets will be for Mt. Boppy style gold and silver deposits and Cobar style base metal/gold/silver deposits. The EL is situated on the Gilmore Suture represented by the Coonara fault and contains a number of previously worked mines in Girilambone Beds/Ballast Cherts (sediments and tuffaceous volcanics - similar age to Cobar Supergroup host rocks) .

Exploration to date has revealed some excellent prospects:

Robust will continue work on the sub-economic gold deposit at McGuiness (Budds Tank) Prospect. Rock chip sampling gave 8.4 g/t Au (Cu, Pb, Zn) and 4.8 g/t Au to the west. A gossan extends over 600m with 12m at 4 g/t Au. A drill indicated resource of 15,000 t at 2.2 g/t Au down to 12m is located here with further work planned to define additional ore. |

North Pole gave 80.0 g/t Ag and anomalous Cu, Pb, Zn in chert and ironstone in a 4.5km long x 200m wide epithermal silicified zone. |

Several styles of mineralisation are targeted by Robust on this EL, which contains many untested anomalies, prospects and a Au resource in a very prospective region.

Exploration Programme
Exploration will utilise magnetics as a primary tool for location of drill targets, which will be initially evaluated with a combination of systematic RAB/LAG/soil sampling, which may be the most expedient method to test prospective structures for Au deposits. The existing 250m line spaced aero magnetics may be worth improving with a 50-100m spaced survey.
Recent work by Tri Origin (2000) involved compilation of a GIS of past work and targets, which have not been followed up and present a good immediate focus.
