FARM OUT OF 4 NSW TENEMENTS

On Feb 11th 2009 Robust signed a JV Agreement with Ausmon Resources Ltd (Ausmon) for the Farm Out of an 85% interest in ELs 6413 (Pooraka), EL 6415 (Tindarey) and EL 6416 (Mt Barrow) near Cobar, and EL 6417 (Cumnock), near Orange. The deal excluded Bauloora (EL 6414) near Cootamundra, which is 100% owned by Robust.

Under the agreement Ausmon will spend $250,000 pa on the tenements as a whole for 3 tenement years ending May 2011, with a right to withdraw after 2 years. This included the recent tenement year to May 16th 2009. Robust is Operator of the JV, with an Operating Committee comprising two members from each company. The JV Agreement was registered with the DPI on April 6th 2009.

Robust retains a 15% free carried interest in each tenement until Ausmon earns its 85% interest therein, and thereafter evaluation and development expenditure would be shared on a pro rata basis.

RECENT JV WORK, AND FINDINGS

Cobar ELs (Pooraka EL 6413, Tindarey EL 6415, Mt Barrow EL 6416)

Target areas were bedrock sampled in March 2009 by air core drilling across strike, mainly at 10m hole spacings. Samples (475 in all) were analysed for Au, Ag, As, Sb, Cu, Pb, and Zn. Anomaly thresholds for gold and other elements were determined and anomalous areas plotted onto plans.

Results-- Anomalies Detected

Pooraka-- Nine approx. 150 to 200m long EW lines were run across about 700m of strike at Chert Ridge, in the northern part of the EL, an area which showed anomalous gold and base metal values in earlier collected float and rock chip samples. Bedrock Au values were slightly anomalous (2 to 5 times background of about 2 ppb) in patches. Other elements form broad anomalies with local spikes.

Two test lines were also run in the southern segment of the EL to test an earlier detected one station bedrock Au anomaly, beneath alluvium at Langbein West. The shorter (southern) line detected strongly anomalous bedrock Au values (12 to 50 times background of about 2 ppb) over a 150m wide zone. A lesser bedrock gold anomaly (3 to 4 times background -45m wide) was also detected on the next line about 150m from a strong 3 hole Pb spike showing up to 1005 ppm Pb.

Mt Barrow Nine lines of air core (bedrock) samples were collected across 3 patches of black ferruginous (gossanous) float and sub crop in the Glengarry area, proximal to the Glengarry eruption centre. The eruption centre contains very coarse grained acid pyroclastic rocks, which, with distance (in the anomalous areas) become finer grained and associated tuffs and minor shales. The areas -designated Areas 1 to 3, exhibited the following anomalism. Area 1 (63 samples covering about 8 ha) was traversed by 2 long and 2 short lines.16 samples were quite anomalous in Au (3 to 10 times background of 4 to 5 ppb). Area 2 (59 samples covering about 6 ha) was traversed by 4 EW 100 to 200+m lines. 21 samples were noted to be Au anomalous (2 to 40 times background of 4 to 5 ppb). Area 3 (19 samples, 3 ha) was covered by one line yielding 7 Au anomalous samples (3 to 7 times background).

Tindarey Five 50 to 75m long lines of air core holes were run across about 500m of strike in the northern part of the Mt Merrere Gold Field and three 75 to 150m lines were run across about 500m of strike in the southern part. In all 78 bedrock samples were collected, plus an additional 20 rock chip samples from surface outcrops. These revealed Au anomalous zones (5 to 50 times background of 2 ppb) in 25 to 75m wide patches.

Cumnock EL 6417, near Orange

As a result of extensive soil grid sampling at the Gumble (778 samples) and Mt Catombal (369 samples) parts of the EL some 15 to 20 new copper and/or gold anomalies have been discovered. These anomalies are significant in that they most likely represent the surface expressions of base and precious mineralisation at depth, and require further investigation- additional soil sampling, prospecting, and probing by air core and/or RC percussion drilling. The Gumble area is highly prospective for skarn type deposits, and the Mt Catombal area for disseminated copper sulphides with epithermal gold.

PROPOSED JV WORK FOR NEXT 3 to 4 MONTHS

  • Checking of all Cobar EL data and honing RC percussion drill targets on Tindarey EL 6415 (Mt Merrere North-3 to 5 holes), Pooraka EL 6413 (Langbein West- 2 to 3 holes), and Mt Barrow EL 6416 (Area 2- 2 or 3 holes).
  • Making brief site visits, preparation/ submission of DPI Surface Disturbance Notices, and securing of DPI (Environment Section) permission for proposed drilling.
  • Briefly chasing down some 5 to 10 unchecked anomalies on the Cobar ELs.
  • Undertaking infill soil sampling, mapping and prospecting of anomalies on Cumnock EL 6417 to hone RC percussion drill targets.

RECENT WORK ON BAULOORA EL 6414, NEAR COOTAMUNDRA

In April 2009 mineralised areas, other than the previously drilled main Pb-Zn-Ag-(Au) vein were mapped, prospected and rock chip sampled (18 samples). Samples were submitted for analysis (base, precious metals, and indicators), and 4 samples were submitted for petrographic examination-emphasis alteration, veining, textures, and signs of mineralisation. Most samples were highly anomalous in Au and Ag -up to 1 and 16 ppm respectively. At the Mee Mar prospect, there were indications of a number of strike-extensive vein systems (which may extend discontinuously over 1.5-2.0 kilometres of strike, but at least 900 metres continuously). These have never been properly sampled or tested by drilling. As a result of this work it is considered that the geochemical, (quartz) textural and petrographic evidence indicates that the Mee Mar veins represent the stratigraphically higher precious metal zone of a low-sulphidation system.

Proposed work consists of additional soil and rock chip sampling to enhance the overall prospectivity of the EL.
