Robust is a mineral explorer focused on gold and base metals in the Lachlan Fold Belt, including the Gilmore Suture, in Central New South Wales. With experienced management who have a track record of major discoveries, the Company is exploring favourable areas near proven world-class deposits and existing infrastructure.
Robust has built a portfolio of exploration properties. The Directors and existing shareholders have expended their own resources and capital in forming an exciting portfolio of tenements, containing potential for resources of gold, copper and other base metals.
Robust has focused on the Lachlan Fold Belt where the potential for gold and base metals mineralisation is now better recognised. The Lachlan Fold Belt has evolved as one of Australia’s most exciting producers of gold and base metals over the past five years. Significant potential lies in the fact that modern exploration techniques have yet to be applied to a high proportion of this area. Robust is seeking major world class deposits located close to proven areas such as the Cadia-Ridgeway Mine owned by Newcrest Mines.
Robust holds six tenements with a total area of 1791km2 in New South Wales.
Five areas are adjacent and on the same structure to previous, present and future major gold producing projects and contain similar age and rock type as those projects.
The sixth tenement is a previous gold and base metal producer situated in an untested 27km2 epithermal envelope.
