Management Biographies

The Robust management team is comprised of a group of technical professionals with significant resources and Indonesian experience that will ensure strong management .

General Manager Indonesia - Dr George Katchan - BSc (Hons) PhD (Sydney Univ.)

Dr Katchan is a geologist with a diverse and highly varied work experience encompassing some 28 years of mineral exploration of which 12 years were spent while on foreign assignments (Indonesia and Papua New Guinea). His recent roles have included directorships with two ASX-listed junior companies.

Dr Katchan's professional memberships include: The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, The Geological Society of Australia, The Society of Exploration Geologists and The Association of Applied Geochemists.

Company Secretary - Ian Mitchell - BA, Dip Law (Sydney)

Mr Mitchell is a practicing solicitor of over thirty years standing. He has been a Director and Company Secretary of a number of public listed Mining and Industrial companies and his legal expertise is in commercial, contractual and ASIC and ASX compliance work.

Exploration Manager - Warrick Clent – BSc (Geology), MAusIMM

Mr Clent is a geologist with 14 years in exploration and mining within Australia. Between 1994 and 1997 he gained experience in exploring for gold and base metals across Western Australia and was involved in the early exploration of the Paulsens Gold deposit in the Ashburton district of W.A.
Mr Clent has previously worked with Anaconda Nickel Ltd where he was involved in the widespread exploration effort for nickel, magnesite, and light metal (niobium/tantalum) deposits; and WMC Resources (later BHP Billiton) in a variety of roles based at the Leinster Nickel Operation both in a mining and exploration capacity. At BHP Billiton he became Senior Project Geologist overseeing the life-of-mine planning for the Perseverance Deposit before leaving to join Trafford Resources Ltd in 2006. While at Trafford Resources, in the role of Exploration Manager, he directed exploration for both precious and base metals on the company’s West Australian and South Australian projects. He is a Member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.

Senior Geologist – Giuseppe Lo Grasso - BSc (Hons)

Mr Lo Grasso is a qualified geologist with over 17 years’ experience particularly working in remote areas. During his career he has explored for base metals, mainly copper and gold and geographically in areas including Mongolia, Pakistan, Haiti and Vietnam. He has been working in Indonesia for two years exploring for epithermal gold, conducting regional mapping and geochemical surveys. Pervious roles include Project Manager for Antofagasta Minerals and Barrick Gold Corporation Joint Venture in Pakistan, a variety of positions including Chief Geologist at Ivanhoe Mines, where he worked for seven years and Indochina Goldfields. Giuseppe is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists, a fellow of the Geological Society of London, SGA and Society of Economic Geologists.

General Manager – Technical - Dr. Peiter Moeskops - PhD, BSc, DIC, SIA(Aff), MAusIMM

Dr Moeskops has 18 years practical experience, covering exploration and mining geology, geophysics, geochemistry and laboratory work (mineralogy, petrology, mineral processing) in Australia, Asia and Africa. He has published some 20 scientific papers in learned journals such as "Nature" and "Economic Geology", covering these fields. As GM-Technical, Dr Moeskops's role is to manage all technical related matters, including regional / local mine-scale exploration, drilling, excavation, budgets, databases and internal / external reporting and strategy planning.
Dr Moeskops has also been a director of several public and private exploration and mining companies. He has securities industry training and experience, working in resources evaluation and funds management for State Super and RGC Ltd, in the last as General Manager-Investments.
