Romang Island is located in Eastern Indonesia, approximately 650km north-west of Darwin. Romang lies within the Sunda magmatic arc which hosts several world class gold and base metal deposits including Newmont's massive Batu Hijau orebody (920 million metric tonnes at 0.55 percent copper and 0.42 grams per tonne gold).
