About Robust
Sydney-based Robust Resources Limited ("Robust", "The Company") is well placed to take advantage of the anticipated strong future demand for metals in the rapidly developing Asian economies.
Robust is a successful mineral explorer and developer, having discovered extensive gold/silver and base-metal mineralisation, along with manganese resources, on Romang Island in Indonesia.
In 2013, Robust acquired two attractive, pre-development copper-gold deposits in the Kyrgyz Republic: the Andash project (subject to a positive 2010 Feasibility Study) and the adjacent Talas project which hosts the multi-million ounce Taldybulak porphyry gold-copper deposit. Robust is also farming-into the highly prospective Bashkol god project in the Kyrgyz Republic. All three Kyrgyz Republic assets were recently transferred into a separate AIM listed company, Tengri Resources., in which Robust is the majority (87.3%) shareholder. 1
Robust is focused on value creation through effective exploration, environmentally sound mining and community engagement using world's best practice methods.
The Company has experienced and dedicated in-country management teams who collectively have diverse skills, strong experience in mining, processing and exploration as well as many years working in our host countries, Indonesia, Kyrgyz Republic and the Philippines.
Robust owns 70.5% of the Indonesian company PT Gemala Borneo Utama (GBU) which holds 5 mineral exploration concessions on Romang Island, Indonesia. The remaining 29.5% shareholding in GBU is held by the Salim Group.
Robust has been exploring on Romang Island since 2008 and has discovered significant deposits of gold, silver, lead, zinc, copper, manganese and barite within the extinct Lakuwahi volcanic caldera. By December 2013, Robust had completed over 400 diamond drill holes and collected over 42,000 metres of high-quality core samples. Exploration is on-going with eight company-owned drill rigs.
In January, 2012, based on less than half the current total drilling, Robust announced the results of an interim mineral resource estimate consistent with the JORC code (2004 edition). Indicated and Inferred resources of 45.3mt @ 0.41g/t Au and 19g/t Ag containing 0.6Moz Au and 28Moz Ag were reported.

In November 2013, the Company reported a JORC (2012) compliant inferred mineral resource estimate of near-surface, high-grade manganese mineralisation from Manganese Valley and Batu Hitam West on Romang Island. The Inferred Mineral Resource of 566,000t at 42.5% Mn is considered to provide a basis for a low-risk, early entry into mining on Romang Island.

In July 2014, the Company reported a significant update from it's previous mineral resource estimate at the polymetallic project. The JORC (2012) compliant mineral resource estimate of 81.7 million tonnes contains 1 million ounces of Gold, 67 million ounces of silver and 2 billion pounds of zinc and lead. This confirms the world class status of the project.
Robust Resources announced the planned acquisition of an 80% economic interest in the Andash copper-gold project from Kentor Resources on the 1 May, 2013. The A$15m transaction was completed in August 2013. The Kyrgyz government retains a 20% interest.
The most recent JORC resource was published in 2006 with total Measured and Indicated estimates of 19.2mt @ 1.1g/t Au and 0.4% Cu. A reserve estimate of 16mt @ 1.05g/t Au and 0.4% Cu was published in 2007 and utilised for the basis of a feasibility study completed in March 2010 by Kentor Gold Ltd. The current owners plan to update the resource in accordance with the 2012 JORC code.

The Taldybulak project contains a SAMREC (2007) indicated resource of 116.5mt @ 0.6g/t Au, 0.2% Cu (plus Mo) in addition to a inferred resource of 336mt @ 0.4g/t Au, 0.16% Cu + Mo. In total, the resource contains over 10moz AuEq (pricing as at 5/03/14). Gold Fields completed a scoping study on the deposit in 2010, which envisaged a large-scale (15mtpa) open-pit operation, producing on average 242koz Au and 26kt of Cu over a 17 year mine life.
Extensive geochemical sampling (>500 samples) has revealed anomalous gold, copper and other metals of interest across the tenement. One prospect of particular interest is Bekbulaktor, in the north-east of the tenement, where channel sampling has revealed high grade intercepts including 12m @ 14.1g/t Au and gold anomalism over a strike length of several kilometres.
Robust Exploration Pty Limited (100% owned subsidiary) has obtained interests in a highly prospective portfolio of copper - gold exploration assets in the Philippines covering 120 square kilometres.
Exploration is focused on two projects - Ganymede on the island of Bohol and the Metis gold project on Negros Island. The Company has entered into a number of agreements to explore specifically targeted areas.
Applications for Exploration Permits have been lodged and their award is being awaited

Taldybulak
Robust announced the acquisition of the Talas gold-copper project in December 2013 from Gold Fields SA. The Talas concessions are located in close proximity to the Andash project, also recently acquired by Robust Resources, and vended into Tengri Resources. The primary focus is the Taldybulak resource, located approximately 20km west of Andash and 270 km west of the capital Bishkek by bitumen road (4-6hrs drive). The Taldybulak project contains a SAMREC (2007) indicated resource of 116.5mt @ 0.6g/t Au, 0.2% Cu (plus Mo) in addition to a inferred resource of 336mt @ 0.4g/t Au, 0.16% Cu + Mo. Bashkol
Robust entered into an agreement in September 2013 to earn up to a 70% ownership interest in the Bashkol Tenement from Kentor Resources. The project covers an area of approximately 180 square kilometres, east of the Andash tenement area and 60km west of the Kumtor Mine. Kumtor, operated by Canada's Centerra Gold produces on average 600kozpa. Resources exceed 18 Moz of gold.Extensive geochemical sampling (>500 samples) has revealed anomalous gold, copper and other metals of interest across the tenement. One prospect of particular interest is Bekbulaktor, in the north-east of the tenement, where channel sampling has revealed high grade intercepts including 12m @ 14.1g/t Au and gold anomalism over a strike length of several kilometres.
