Overview

The Kyrgyz Republic is seeking to encourage foreign investment in gold mining through liberal taxation systems which are related to gold price movements. Many politicians and citizens are eager to see the mining industry realise its full potential.
Bordered alongside China and Kazakhstan, potential customers are located within close proximity. Russia provides the country with a generous fuel subsidy and the mining industry has solid support from selected NGO's, regional Development Banks and Institutions and external government aid agencies.
There are high levels of in-country technical, environmental and social capacity while labour costs in the Kyrzgyz Republic are still very low when compared with other jurisdictions. Engineering companies and high standard fabrication workshops are available in country.
In 2013, we acquired interests in three projects in the Kyrgyz Republic. They are the Andash project , Bashkol project and Taldybulak project.
