Metis Project

The Metis Project is an early stage exploration project which comprises an area of approximately 4800ha and is located on Negros Island.

The project area is underlain by a volcanic sequence of andesitic lavas and tuffs with contemporaneous sediments. A striking feature of the project area is the number of silica deposits associated with areas of extensive alteration due to hydrothermal activity of the high sulphidation type. A previously unrecognised caldera and two volcanic centres have been identified.

Mapping and soil geochemistry have been carried out and we have identified three drill targets.
